We recognise our responsibilities for safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. We have a detailed policy applying to all staff working in the organisation, including permanent and temporary staff and volunteers. Comprehensive procedures support this policy.

Flower Skills is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all its students. As a training provider we recognise that safeguarding against radicalisation is no different from safeguarding against any other vulnerability. At Flower Skills, all staff are expected to uphold and promote the fundamental principles of British values, including democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect, and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.

Overall responsibility for Health and Safety sits with Mark Ager as the Managing Director. Day to day responsibility is delegated to Jason Bodimeade, General Manager.

Flower Skills is committed to regular attendance of its students. Every day lost can have a serious impact on a student’s attainment and overall progress. The aim of this policy, therefore, is to encourage the highest possible levels of attendance for individual students. Regular and punctual attendance is essential in order to maximise students’ chances of success.
