Pre-16 support

We offer a wide range of construction trade courses and projects for schools. This would also be ideal for learners wanting to undertake work experience in the construction industry.

Courses we offer schools

Programmes include trade courses accredited by City & Guilds (trades include brickwork, painting and decorating, tiling, plastering, carpentry etc) and a variety of construction health and safety options (including the CSCS test for those wanting to work on a construction site.

Our taster courses include introductions to the above trades but also cover, for example, mobile towers (a good team-building exercise) and asbestos awareness; other programmes focus on "take home" items such as mosaics, bird boxes and picture frames. We work hard to engage learners and ensure that they both enjoy the course and learn some useful skills whilst at the same time building their confidence, developing social skills and working together.

Flexible options

We pride ourselves on our flexibility, so if you have a particular need or interest, please get in touch to discuss it and we will see how we can help. These types of discussion have led us to helping with school maintenance projects, running projects for special needs learners and their carers and delivering vocational training and assessment in support of qualifications otherwise delivered at school.

Give us a try!
