Post-16 support

Our post-16 programmes offer progression opportunities for learners who have been with us on a pre-16 course, or for learners new to Flower Skills, or new to construction.

Training services for post-16 students

Most learners follow a multi-trade course, developing skills in a number of different trades unless and until they decide to specialise in a particular area.

These courses are an ideal preparation for progression into a cosntruction trade apprenticeship or more advanced courses at college or university.

Other courses include traineeship programmes, where learners acquire trade skills and use these skills on a "real-life" project in the community. They leave with qualifications and an enhanced CV reflecting their experience in completing a project, thereby greatly enhancing their chances of securing employment or an apprenticeship in construction or another field.
